Very little of it is written for the person in the middle, who just wants to make one good decision and get on with their day.
That person is who we write for.
What we cover
Everything on this site lives in one category, Transportation, and it stays deliberately narrow. We would rather publish a small number of genuinely useful guides about electric scooters and e-bikes. reviews, tips, and the latest trends for eco-friendly commuting in the us than hundreds of shallow ones about everything.
How we work
- We start from the questions readers actually ask. Each guide answers a real question someone has had to search for, and it answers it in the first few paragraphs rather than after a thousand words of preamble.
- We explain mechanisms, not just tips. Knowing why something works is what lets you apply it to your own situation instead of copying ours.
- We say when something is not worth it. Several of our articles end by advising against a purchase. If a recommendation never has a downside, it is marketing, not editorial.
- We do not invent numbers. Where we give figures we give ranges and name the variables that move them, rather than quoting a precise statistic we cannot stand behind.
